Emergency Numbers - 911 or 612-344-1885

911 provides direct access to police, fire, ambulance and rescue assistance. If you witness any of the following emergencies occurring in the Baker Center.

  · Medical Emergency
  · Fire
  · Crime in Progress

FIRST: Please call 911; then IMMEDIATELY call Baker Center's emergency number (612-344-1885) to inform the building management and Security Department.

NOTE: Depending on the size and type of phone system your business uses, you may have to dial a prefix number before 911 to get an outside line. If you use another phone carrier outside of Qwest, the information 911 receives may be different than the company name and address. Contact your phone company for specific information on this and instruct your employees of special requirements.

Emergency Coordinators

We ask that all tenants provide Baker Center Security with a list of Emergency Coordinators for their spaces. These coordinators will act as liaison between Baker Center and the Tenant should an emergency occur requiring building or floor evacuation.

Please complete and return the New Tenant Information form included with this handbook and return it to the Management Office at your earliest convenience.

Civil Disturbance

In the event of a minor disturbance, such as an unauthorized person, a suspicious person, or a crime being reported after the fact (e.g. theft, break-in), please contact Baker Center Operations at 612-344-1880. They will dispatch a security officer.
